Who it is for
Who it is for
Anyone filing a Canadian personal return — a single T4, a pension, a rental unit, self-employment income, or a combination that has become harder to do alone.
Prior years count. If you have not filed for one year or several, those returns can be prepared and filed too.

Not included

- Representation at a formal CRA appeal or before the Tax Court
What to expect
- Start with a free consultationBy phone, video or in person at the Vaughan office. Bring questions, not paperwork.
- Bring what you haveBank statements, invoices, prior returns, a spreadsheet, a folder of receipts — whatever exists. Gaps are normal and sorting them out is part of the job.
- Ask what it will costYou get a figure for your actual situation before any work starts.
What to have ready
Your T4s and any other slips, last year's notice of assessment, receipts for anything you plan to claim, and — if you have rental or self-employment income — a record of what came in and what went out.
Missing slips can usually be retrieved from your CRA account once you authorise access, so a missing T4 is not a reason to wait.
What it costs
Fees depend on the size of the job — how many transactions there are, how many people you pay, and how much needs rebuilding before the filing can be done.
The first consultation is free. Ask what your situation would cost and you will get a figure for it rather than a range off a price list.

Prior years count
If a year was never filed, it can still be prepared and filed. A surprising number turn out to be refunds.
Questions
Questions about personal returns
When is my personal return due?
April 30 for most people. If you or your spouse are self-employed you have until June 15 to file, but anything you owe is still due April 30.
I am behind on past years. Can you still help?
Yes. Prior-year personal and corporate returns can be prepared and filed. Bring whatever records you have — a gap in the paperwork is normal and is part of the work.
What do I need to bring to the first conversation?
Nothing prepared. It helps to know roughly what your revenue looks like, whether you are incorporated, and whether you have employees. Documents can follow once you know what you need.
Do you file with the CRA on my behalf?
Yes, once you authorise it. Returns are prepared, you review and approve them, and they are then filed electronically.
